1967: Three families moved from Abbotsford to Kamloops, they began studying, praying, and meeting with others for worship.
1969: Sunday meetings had become weekly at Marion Schilling School. The British Columbia Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches began to support the growing work.
1970: The name "Valleyview Bible Church" was chosen. The congregation was formalized and its first pastor was chosen.
1974: The congregation moved into their current building in Valleyview.
