St. Andrew's Lutheran Church
815 Renfrew Avenue is a church on the Kamloops North Shore at the corner of Renrew Avenue and Renfrew Lane. It was built by the St. Andrew's Lutheran congregation in 1961. They continue to meet there today.
Timeline:
1961: Land purchased by missionaries from the American Lutheran Church in Canada
23 October 1961: Ground broken
24 June 1961: First services held in the building.
23 September 1962: Cornerstone dedication ceremony.
15 May 1966: Education wing construction completed. Dedicated for use.
1974: The Chancel was renovated.
1982: As part of 20-year anniversary celebration, six stained glass windows were designed and installed.
1994: Chain link fence added to the property.
1995: New front doors designed and installed.
