109 Don Street

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church

118 Don Street is a church on the North Shore, at the corner of Don Street and Tranquille Road. The Kamloops Heritage plaque in front of the building says it was built in 1953 by members of the Ukrainian Catholic Church. When it opened, the domes on top were not completed. They were completed soon after.

Currently the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church congregation meets in this building.

Timeline:

1953: Building constructed

26 September 1954: The inscribed stone at the front of the building, containing church records, was cemented.

1956: The residence behind the church hall was built.

1958: The domes were completed.
